These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by General Mechanical Company d/b/a GMC Heating & Cooling d/b/a GMC Pros (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in Canton, Ohio and surrounding areas.

These Terms govern your use of our website, services, and products. By utilizing this website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please cease use of this Website.

  1. Our Services: GMC Pros provides installation, repair, preventative maintenance and other related services for heating, cooling, and plumbing. The availability of these services is subject to change at any time.
  2. Appointments: Any and all service or other appointments must be scheduled in advance. Our Company may be available for emergency services, but cannot guarantee so based upon technician availability and other factors. Please note that although we will make all reasonable efforts to arrive within the time window scheduled for an appointment, delays beyond our control will happen from time to time and our Company shall not be liable for any such delays.
  3. Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or you may be subject to charges for late notice.
  4. Property Access: By hiring our Company, you consent to reasonable and safe access to all areas and equipment of your home/property deemed appropriate by our technicians and staff. You must inform us of any known hazards that may exist. We require an adult household member or another authorized representative to be present during work unless otherwise agreed.
  5. Payment Terms: Payment terms will be more fully outlined in the service agreement. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed to with our Company in writing. Emergency services, including but not limited to after hours, holidays, and weekends, will be charged at additional rates.
  6. Late Payments: Unpaid balances will incur late fees and interest.
  7. Warranties: Warranties for equipment and services may be provided by the manufacturer and/or our Company, respectively. Specific warranty terms and conditions are available upon request. Exceptions to warranties exist, including but not limited to misuse.
  8. Liability: Our Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of any services or equipment.
  9. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Our Company and its affiliates and their respective directors, managers, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, members and employees harmless from any and all claims and/or damages arising from your use of our services or any violation of these Terms.
  10. Severability: These Terms is separable. If a court declares any provision of these Terms void or invalid, all other provisions remain binding.
  11. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws in the State of Ohio and proper venue and jurisdiction shall be in Stark County, Ohio.
  12. Headings: Headings are for general convenience in identifying subject matter, but have no limiting impact on the text which follows any particular heading.
  13. Intellectual Property: All content on Our website is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  14. Modifications: Our Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
