Greg II has been a part of the GMC Heating & Cooling Inc. team for over eight years now. Starting as an entry-level technician, he has worked his way up the ranks to becoming our Installer Manager – which means he’s in charge of making sure every part that needs to be put together to make a customer HVAC come to life is on-site and ready to install – as well as installing all of the systems. He works with a team of installers to make sure that from start to finish, GMC Heating & Cooling Inc. customers have a five-star experience while technicians are in their homes.
Greg II was born and raised in Stark County and attended Perry High School. He continues to live in Perry, where he has a small farm and seven cows. He enjoys hunting, specifically whitetail deer, as well as fishing in many of our local lakes and rivers. He’s even traveled to Hawaii and caught swordfish!
When we asked Greg what type of food he enjoyed in Stark County, his response was immediately “Olive Garden.” When asked about why, he said that he “really enjoyed the breadsticks” and that they just “keep me coming back for more.”
Greg has been hands-on, installing HVAC equipment in all different types of homes for almost a decade at this point, and he has seen a lot of different circumstances in the field. We asked Greg for a heating and ventilation tip that everyone should know about when it comes to their Heating and Air Conditioning systems, he said three things:
- Feeling like your hot air just isn’t as hot? Call before your system goes completely under.
- Don’t wrap the sides of your outside AC unit to prep for winter. It’ll trap moisture in your unit and risk rusting it.
- A good way to know if your indoor humidifier is putting out too much is condensation on the inside of your windows.
Want a hands-off way to make sure you don’t forget to maintain your HVAC System? Ask us about our Preventative Maintenance Program. A GMC Heating & Cooling Inc. Technician will visit you twice a year, once in the early spring to check the AC and once in the fall to check the heating elements, and will ensure that everything is working properly before the season’s drastically changing temperature.
As a bonus, if you are a member of our preventative maintenance program, you can call at any time during regular business hours and receive complimentary diagnostics through the GMC Heating & Cooling Inc. team. Tell us your issue, and we’ll make sure a technician gets out to your property ASAP to take a look.
